Angel laughed lightly and began to start a fire, “Right, of course~ Anything for my Princess~” he cooed, chuckling at his friend.
All the while, he couldn’t help but think yet again of life. Fire. An essential element of life. It kept people warm, helped prepared food… what an interesting thing. He could understand why cave people had been so intrigued by it. When it sparked to life and the fire started, he smiled brightly. As if he could feel the immense interest and happiness those people long ago once held inside of them.

Princess? Did she hear him right? Gracious, that was probably the most peculiar nickname she’d received yet! Still, she giggled lightly and nudged him in a playful manner.
Without much grace, Tousaka tore open the can and dumped the contents into the pot, and added a quarter of the water from the bottle to it. She stirred it twice and then hopped back up - remembering she forgot the plate that was supposed to stand over the fire for the pot.
In a few seconds she dashed away and then returned, nestling up to Angel as she watched him prepare the fire.
OOC: As soon as I got home last night I hit the bed, I was so tired.
I’ll try to reply this morning - coughAngelcough - but I’m feeling a bit sluggish.
Like the Tousaka I am, I haven’t been eating well either.

Angel shrugged, “I’ll eat anything - er, within reason.” He smiled, not being picky about anything really. He could eat anything as long as it was reasonable and edible.
At first, his body had tensed when Tousaka had nuzzled up against him - it was unexpected. But a moment later, he relaxed and let the girl do so, silently and secretly liking the gesture. When she pulled away to scamper off, he frowned slightly but quickly regained his apathetic facial expression.
When she returned and ordered him to sit, he sat. As if he was certainly a trained dog and not a mischievous bird. He looked up at her with his one eye filled with curiosity, “Are you going to sit too? You should relax, before you get even worse.” He told her, some worry in his tone slightly surfacing.
“I’ll be okay, we hunter-gatherer’s are stronger than you take us for! ..Er. ..Me, for.” She paused, thinking for a moment and seeming to get lost in the thought before shaking it off.
Tousaka shuffled back off into the deep part of the cave. From the echoes there was clanging and shifting to be heard, and soon she emerged with a medium sized pot and a can of soup sitting inside of it. In her free hand she held two spoons, a couple of napkins, and a water bottle. “Angel, would you mind starting the fire? I would, but I have to prepare this gourmet meal.” She giggled, plopping down beside him and beginning to fix up the “feast” she had for them.
